Nakaota Shintaro drawing: wip






















Nakaota Shintaro, Japanese nationalist who helped to over throw the Tokugawa Shogunate. Really, it's just an old photo I'm using to practice my drawing skills with. I'll post more when i get done with it. Using an Ebony pencil on canson universal sketch paper, so, its a little too rough for this type of work but oh well.

Charcoal drawing: skull



Ohh plaster skull, we meet again. Doing an in-class demo on how to combine vine charcoal and charcoal pencils in your drawings: vine for value and shading, pencil for line and accuracy.
